Get to know: Daniel Crochet, Sancerre
Tasting Note
Sancerre produces the most elegant, crisp and dry examples of Sauvignon Blanc. This has green apple, pear, soft grapefruit and citrus and lemon, with a lean minerality and light flint notes. This is a delightful, pure and expertly balanced wine.
Try this with light fish dishes with asparagus or goats cheese.
