A fine Bordeaux red wine. Château Puybarbe is situated at the highest elevation of the Côtes de Bourg appellation, looking over the Gironde estuary on the right bank of Bordeaux. This is the perfect gift for a serious Bordeaux lover, presented in a wooden gift box. This wine can be enjoyed now or aged for a few more years in the cellar.

The wineries signature wine, made only from their best selection of grapes and aged for 16-20 months in oak barrels. Powerful blackberries and black cherries with a hit of spice, oak and bold tannins. It has a silky texture and some balancing acidity that makes it very food friendly. A really fabulous merlot dominated Bordeaux. Drinking nicely now, but has the potential to develop over the next 3-5 years.
This really comes into its own with a roast beef dinner.
