Domaine Christian Bellang has roots in Meursault going all the way back to 1789, Christian took over from his parents in 1974 and together with his son they now run an estate of 9 hectares stretching across Meursault, Savigny les Beaune, Chorey les Beaune and Beaune, with vines averaging around 30 years across the estate.
The Sous la Velle Chardonnay is made from grapes mainly from Meursault, aged in oak barrels for around 1 year and offers excellent value for money for the quality of fruit. This is a rich and complex Burgundy full of ripe fruit, toasty oak and crisp acidity.
