A stunning vintage Champagne from Charles Heidsieck, the 2013 Brut Millésimé is rich, toasty, and beautifully balanced. Golden in the glass with fine bubbles, it opens with aromas of roasted nuts, ripe apricot, and a hint of smoky spice. The palate is layered and complex - think orchard fruits, a touch of cinnamon, and a salty, mineral edge that lingers long after each sip. A serious Champagne with real presence, perfect for those who love depth and intensity in their fizz.
“This is the kind of Champagne that makes you stop and take notice. It’s bold, beautifully aged, and full of flavour - there’s no holding back here! If you love a vintage Champagne with richness and depth, this one’s for you. It’s got that classic Charles Heidsieck weightiness but with a fresh, zingy backbone that keeps it exciting. A proper treat for a special occasion or just because you fancy something exceptional.”
Charles Heidsieck is one of the great names of Champagne and produces some of the finest of all champagnes. Founded in 1851 by Charles-Camille Heidsieck, the original ‘Champagne Charlie’, the foundation of its modern fame rests on the unrivalled quality of its wines, which receive countless awards and accolades year after year. This success is attributable to the strength and depth of their winemaking team over the past three decades: Daniel Thibault, Régis Camus, Thierry Roset and Cyril Brun have between them been awarded ‘Sparkling Winemaker of the Year’ at the International Wine Challenge 14 times. No other house has won more than twice.
Charles Heidsieck is a true Champagne icon, known for producing some of the most refined and characterful wines in the region. Their vintage Champagnes are only made in standout years, and the 2013 is no exception. A blend of 57% Pinot Noir and 43% Chardonnay from top Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, it was aged for over eight years in the house’s ancient chalk cellars before release. This patience pays off in a Champagne that’s rich, complex, and built to last - drink now or tuck it away for a few more years if you can resist!
