Get to know: Champagne Lete-Vautrain Grand Millesime Brut
Tasting Note
From a small 8 hectare estate that has been producing champagne since the 60's. This wine has a rich complexity from 6 years ageing on the lees which give harmony and elegance. Full of character and maturity with notes of hazelnuts, brioche, almonds along with apricot, peach and spices. A great champagne to serve with food such as stuffed, roast chicken or roast turkey.
Producer Info
The estate was created in the 1960's in Chateau-Thierry, by Robert Lété and Liliane Vautrain, his wife. They combined their surnames to create its brand. Their eight hectare vineyard, planted on limestone slopes, stretches across the town of Chateau-Thierry and the neighbouring village of Essomes-sur-Marne.
