Cave de la Côte Chasselas 2023 is a crisp, refreshing white with soft floral aromas and flavours of green apple, citrus and a hint of juicy white peach. There’s a smooth, rounded texture to it too – a bit like a light Viognier – and it finishes with a clean, mouth-watering acidity. Fresh, delicate and easy to enjoy, it’s just as lovely on its own as it is with food.
Try this with cheesy leek and potato pie, smoky hake or coconut fish curry or a soft goat’s cheese or creamy Reblochon.

Cave de la Côte is a co-operative winery rooted in the heart of the La Côte region in Vaud, Switzerland. It began back in 1929, when local growers came together to protect and promote their land and wines – and today it brings together over 300 growers working more than 1,800 individual plots.
Despite its size, the focus here is very much on quality and sustainability. In fact, Cave de la Côte was named Best Swiss Organic Winery in 2024 – a nod to their commitment to the environment and to thoughtful, clean winemaking.
This Chasselas is made with a light touch to keep the grape’s natural freshness and minerality front and centre. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, which locks in all that fruit purity and keeps the wine bright and zesty. No oak, no fuss – just clean, precise winemaking that really lets the vineyard do the talking.
