Casa Relvas, Tinta Miuda 2021

Get to know: Casa Relvas Tinta Miúda 2021

A bold Portuguese red wine from the sun-drenched vineyards of Alentejo.

Tasting Note

Casa Relvas Tinta Miúda 2021 is a full-bodied red that shows the generous, confident side of Alentejo winemaking. Intense ruby in colour, it opens with complex aromas of jammy blackberries, ripe black cherry, balsamic notes and warming spices. On the palate, this Portuguese red wine is rich and structured, with juicy dark fruit, a savoury edge and excellent balance, all carried by ripe, well-managed tannins. It finishes long and elegant, with lingering spice and freshness that keep everything in check. A bold yet polished expression of the Tinta Miúda grape that’s made for hearty food and relaxed evenings.

Top food pairings:

  • Slow-roasted lamb with rosemary and garlic
  • Rich beef or pork ragù with pappardelle
  • Grilled mushrooms or aubergine dishes with smoky spices
Kate Says

"This is one of those reds you want when you’re cooking something proper – big flavours, good company and no rush. Satisfying, bold and very moreish."

Producer Info
