Kate Says

“A perfect introduction to the delights of White Burgundy! The Chablis is all about crisp, clean minerality, the Bourgogne Blanc delivers smoothness and finesse, and the Saint-Véran brings sunny fruit and freshness. This trio is a perfect way to explore how Chardonnay reflects its unique terroir across Burgundy. I can’t pick a favourite – they’re all delicious in their own way!”

What’s Inside?

Domaine Alexandre Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2022 (Chablis)

From old vines in northern Chablis, this wine delivers the region’s signature minerality with a bright and zesty character. Expect aromas of baked apple, quince, white flowers, and a saline edge, alongside flavours of lemon, lime, and subtle melon. It’s crisp, textured, and beautifully refreshing.

Domaine Sylvain Dussort Bourgogne Blanc Cuvée des Ormes 2022 (Côte de Beaune)

Sourced from vineyards around Meursault, this wine reflects the Côte de Beaune’s renowned elegance. It offers a pristine, rounded wine, with a little almond-y softness with elegant apple fruit. W reckonit’s come together nicely since we tried it a year ago.Silky and versatile, it’s a perfect example of accessible, high-quality white Burgundy.

Domaine de la Croix Senaillet Saint-Véran En Pommards 2022 (Mâconnais)

This Chardonnay from the sunny slopes of Saint-Véran is pale gold with green highlights. Its aromas of green apple, citrus, white flowers, almond, and wet stone lead to a medium-bodied palate, intense in flavour, with good tension between the richer oak elements and the crisper zingy apple and lemon fruit. Lots of personality.

This trio invites you to savour the artistry of Burgundy’s Chardonnay and explore the unique character of its sub-regions in every sip.
