Description

This trio is a celebration of Burgundy’s excellent 2022 vintage, hailed for producing wines with classic balance, ripe fruit, and great quality. Featuring three Pinot Noirs from renowned sub-regions – the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and Chalonnais – these wines are approachable and ready to enjoy now but also offer the potential for cellaring over the next five years. Perfect for both Burgundy newcomers and seasoned collectors, this set beautifully showcases the region’s diversity and elegance.

Kate Says

“The 2022 vintage is such a treat – vibrant and full of character. This trio captures the magic of Burgundy’s Pinot Noir from three very different areas. There’s structure and brightness from the Côte de Nuits, soft charm from the Côte de Beaune, and bold intensity from the Chalonnais. They’re all drinking nicely now, but if you can bear to wait, they’ll only get better over the next few years!”

What’s Inside?

Domaine Remoriquet Hautes Côtes de Nuits 2022 (Côte de Nuits)

Vibrant and structured, this Pinot Noir bursts with cherry, violet, and licorice aromas. Its crisp acidity and firm body make it both refreshing and elegant, showcasing the bright, youthful energy of the Côte de Nuits. Drink now or cellar for up to 5 years to develop more complexity.

Domaine Sylvain Dussort Côte d'Or Pinot Noir 2022 (Côte de Beaune)

This Pinot Noirisprobably one of the best Pinot Noirs around £30 we have.Smooth and refined, this wine is all about red berry aromas, soft tannins, and a silky texture. With its polished style, it’s approachable today but promises further elegance with age. Perfect for those who love the softer side of Burgundy.

Domaine François Raquillet Bourgogne Rouge 2022 (Chalonnais)

This is more outwardlylow-intervention.There’s a more “rural” feel to this wine. Bold and fruit-forward, this wine brings richness and depth, with ripe fruit flavours and concentrated intensity. The warmth of the Chalonnais shines through, making it the most robust of the trio. Enjoy now or allow it to develop for added complexity over the next 5 years.

Together, these wines offer an ideal snapshot of Burgundy’s 2022 vintage, showcasing the region’s versatility while offering a rewarding experience both now and in the years to come.
