Medium bodied with lots of delicate spice, ripe red berries and hints of violet flowers. It's silky smooth with a beautiful balanced freshness on the finish.
Avignonesi is one of the leading wineries in Montepulciano area of Tuscany. Their Rosso di Montepulciano is their house style, fermented with indigenous yeasts with around 15 days maceration on the skins before a short period of ageing in large slovenian oak casks.
A really versatile wine to pair with food but great with sausage and mash!
