Albatreti is a small estate with around 5 hectares of vines around Montalcino, all Sangiovese between 400-500m above sea level. Aged in a mixture of stainless steel and oak Tonneaux with a further 12 months ageing in bottle before release. Full of morello cherries and bramble fruits. Crisp acidfity and fine tannins and a rustic edge. An ideal pairing with red meat dishes or game.
