Get to know: Dea del Mare Vino Rosso NV
A vibrant Italian red wine blending Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, made for easy, versatile drinking.
Tasting Note
Ruby red in the glass, with black cherry and wild berries up front, backed by a gentle balsamic edge and a touch of soft herbs. The palate is medium-bodied and fruit-forward, with smooth tannins carrying a savoury lift that keeps things light on its feet. Dry and food-friendly, it suits a plate of something just as well as a glass on its own. Serve it at 16 to 18°C and the fruit really comes forward.
Top food pairings:
- Roast pork
- Cured meats
- Penne all'arrabbiata
Kate Says
"We love how versatile this one is: good with a Sunday roast, just as happy next to a bowl of pasta. It's really easy to open without overthinking it, and it goes down nicely by the glass too."
