Lovely and fragrant with juicy red fruit aromas and flavours such as plum, blackberry, cherry and cranberry. There's a soft spice too and a pleasantly fresh finish. Approachable and easy to drink with gentle tannins on the finish.

Vega Del Rayo is a well-balanced and great value range of Rioja wines sourced from a 60ha estate in Rioja Alta for Boutinot Wines where the climate ensures a more gentle ripening of the grapes producing wines with ripe fruit characters, juicy acidity and supple tannins.
This red wine is produced from selected Tempranillo grapes sourced in Rioja Alta. Fermentation at 24 to 26ºC with 8 to 10 days maceration on the skins. No oak ageing. Bottled early.
