A complex beast full of concentrated blackcurrants and black cherries with earthy herbaceous aroma's. The palate is dense with rich fruit, spicy black pepper and silky smooth tannins.
A syrah dominant blend from the Bot river area in the Cape south coast. A careful blend of Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache reminiscent of the great blends of the Rhone valley. Aged in large, old oak casks for around 12 months.
