Get to know: Ca Di Rajo Lemoss Frizzante

Tasting Note

Ca Di Rajo Lemoss is a lightly sparkling, bone dry wine with bags of rustic charm. Unfiltered and naturally cloudy, Lemoss Frizzante is all about freshness – think zesty lemon peel, crisp green apple, and a whisper of grapefruit. There’s a lovely hint of bread crust and acacia flower on the nose thanks to the lees left in the bottle. It’s low in alcohol, high in refreshment, and dangerously easy to drink.

Pairs well with:

  • A pile of salty crispy courgette fritti

  • Goat’s cheese salad with lemon dressing

  • Soft, creamy cheeses like stracchino or a fresh ricotta

Kate Says

“Call it a ‘Prosecco alternative’ if you like, but this cloudy, natural fizz has way more personality. Bone dry, lightly fizzy, and totally smashable – I bring it out at any summer do.”

Producer Info

Ca’ di Rajo is a family-run winery in Veneto, right in the heart of the Prosecco-growing region. The Cecchetto brothers are keeping old traditions alive – their vines are trained using the historic Bellussera method, which not only looks incredible but helps with sustainable farming too.

Lemoss is made the old-school way: using the col fondo method, where the wine undergoes its second fermentation in bottle. The result? No filtration, no added sugar, and no messing about – just pure, textured, natural sparkling wine with the lees still present for depth and a bit of fizz. It’s a wine that speaks of the land, the grape (hand-picked Glera), and the season.

Low sulphite, vegan, and perfect for sipping on a sunny afternoon. A proper summer sparkling wine with character.
