100% Cabernet Franc from Szekszard in Hungary, grown on warm south facing vineyards for maximum ripeness and aged for around a year in a mixture of Hungarian and American oak barrels to add complexity and bring the fruit into balance with the tannins and acidity. Full of bright red fruits and violet aromas with hints of leather and tobacco.
A great wine to try with grilled fish or lamp chops. Also good with mushrooms, olive and tomato based sauces.
Tuske is an artisan family winery where grapes are hand selected and minimal intervention is practiced with low yields so the vines can absorb sufficient nutrients from the soil naturally. Low Sulphur. South- southeast facing vineyard, harvested from Mid October, barrel matured in old and new American oak barrels for one year then bottle matured.
