Part 1 of the Italian Collection, the Marsala Edition is matured in Marsala Wine casks. Aromas of panettone and candied lime lead, while flavours of white chocolate, lemon truffles and hazelnut balance perfectly on the palate. Sweet citrus returns on the finish with blood orange accompanied by notes of toasted oak.
Since 1897, people have worked hard to build the Tomatin community that exists today and lies at the heart of everything they do. Producing quality single malt and blended Scotch whisky in an area of stunning natural beauty which has rich whisky making traditions dating back to the 1500s.
The Italian Collection expressions were each distilled on 6th December 2010,the spirit laid down in traditional Scotch Whisky oak casks for 10 years. On 10th February 2021 it was then moved into Marsala, Amarone and Barolo wine casks for a further 2 years, resulting in a wonderful trio of single malt Scotch Whiskies.
