The three types of cask used in the maturation of this whisky impart individual flavour characteristics. The bourbon cask creates honey, coconut and milk chocolate. The Oloroso Sherry cask gives a rich and fruity treacle, coffee and paprika notes. Finally the North American virgin oak balanced these with clean and zingy citrus, pecan pie and cinnamon.
