Domaine Lebrun, Pouilly-Fume 2022

Get to know: Domaine Lebrun, Pouilly-Fume

Tasting Note

A typical expression of this most elegant of Loire Sauvignon Blancs. This wine has fantastic length and structure. Citrus and smoky undertones dominate when drunk young, with a greater fullness and complexity developing with age.

Try with goats cheese and smoked salmon.

Kate Says

"A classic here, Pouilly-Fumé is softer and rounder than its neighbour Sancerre, with a lovely flinty smokiness. A lovely wine with smoked salmon."

Producer Info

Laurent Lebrun was trained as a winemaker at Montpellier, spent his formative years training in Australia and then returned to France to take up the position of General Manager and Head Winemaker at Château Olivier, Grand Cru Classé in Bordeaux.
