There’s a touch of ripe stone fruit and a delicate pastry-like richness, thanks to time spent on the lees. Smooth and rounded, it finishes with a zesty lift, making it a joy to drink.
Try this with grilled prawns, seabass, or a classic Spanish seafood paella. This also works beautifully with lemon and herb roasted cauliflower or a vibrant summer salad. If you're thinking cheese - try it with Manchego, a creamy goat’s cheese, or a slice of Brie.

Glorioso is a historic range from the Entrecanales family started in 1917. Today it sits alongside the Cosme Palacio wines as part of this small to medium sized estate in Rioja Alavesa.
The winery have been on a course of serious investment in sustainability: solar powered winery, capture and reuse of rainwater, minimal sprays (only when needed, and Rioja is not an easy place to avoid disease and rot etc), investing in their communities and their workforce.
The Glorioso Blanco is crafted primarily from Viura, the classic white grape of Rioja, with a touch of other local varieties. Fermented at controlled temperatures, it captures both flavour and complexity of the grapes. Finally, it is briefly aged in French and American oak barrels that gives it depth and elegance, without losing the freshness that defines Rioja whites.
