Botivo is a small batch, aperitif inspired drink that infuses 5 bittersweet, herbal and citrus botanicals into a fermented apple base for several weeks to extract the subtle flavours and natural complexities. It is then balanced out with wildflower honey. The taste is aromatic with herbal, bitter, citrus with a long finish. To be enjoyed in what Botivo call the ‘yellow hour’, the most important moment of the day when you clock out and ease into your evening.
Serve as a spritz with soda, ice with a juicy wedge of orange or add a depth of flavour to many cocktails.

Botivo is one of the more interesting and satisfying alcohol alternatives we've tried, and while it's great in a spritz, it has a lot of potential for blending. I tried it with Hip Pop Ginger Yuzu kombucha and it’s brilliant.
Botivo founders Sam Paget Steavenson and Imme Ermgassem wanted to bring the true craft and depth of flavour found in the alcohol category, to the non-alcoholic category. To them, this meant using real ingredients, no flavourings and low intervention techniques. Great drinks are delicious, complex and multilayered. It is their fullness in taste that gives us pleasure.
Sam’s meticulous research led him to discover an ancient tonic called Oxymels: a traditional elixir where an apple vinegar base is patiently infused with fresh herbs and botanicals for several weeks, before its tart flavour is balanced out with honey. Delicious. And deliberately non alcoholic. It’s a combination that offers the perfect medium for aromatic roots, fresh herbs and botanicals to create a complex, booze-free drink with a long and dry finish.
Botivo is all natural and made from 8 ingredients: rosemary, thyme, orange zest, gentian, wormwood, honey, fructose and apple cider vinegar. All ingredients are prepared and bottled on a farm in Hertfordshire and they are committed to buying British where possible, helping to reduce each bottle’s carbon footprint. Aged for a minimum of 1 year their apple cider vinegar is sourced from a family run farm, Ostlers in Devon.
