The Whiskymaker’s Editions is a series of one-off releases showcasing the sense of adventure of the Lakes whiskymaker – Dhavall Gandhi. Each Edition is an exceptional diversion from The Lakes sherry-led signature style; an expression of creative freedom. Iris reveals the world in a different light – a prismatic play of colours, aromas and flavours, where everything is turned up to the max and the everyday is suddenly transformed in a vivid multi-sensory explosion of fun.

The Lakes Distillery is Cockermouth within the Lake District National Park in the north of England. It is the first whisky distillery operating in the Lakes for over 100 years. Paul Currie was a veteran of the Scottish Whisky industry and saw the potential in the area. After renovating an old dairy farm they were able to bring that vision to reality. Together with whiskymaker Dhavall Gandhi they set about creating a unpeated, sherried whisky that was distinctive for the place, and continue to create and innovate through new editions.
