Introducing winemaker Sarolta Bárdos' sparkling Furmint wine. This youthful vintage fizz is made in the same way as Champagne but uses the Tokaj region's signature grape variety, Furmint. The nose is creamy with hints of fresh pears and bubblegum. Juicy and rounded on the palate, you're met with sweeping orchard fruits, crisp lemon acidity and biscuity tones. This offers the sparkling wine fan something different to try!
Try this with Crab on toast, french fries, poached salmon, fish finger sandwich, oysters, mushroom risotto, pasta in cream sauce, or sushi.
Nobilis winery was founded in the 19th century at an affluent farmhouse. The house now has a traditional cellar where wines are aged in barrels and bottles. For Nobilis, winemaking starts in the vineyard, as the quality of the wine is fundamentally determined by the quality of the grapes, so they apply strict pruning, shoot and cluster selection. With an extremely low yield, very concentrated fruits with a high must grade can be harvested. During harvesting and processing, they take great care to process the grapes in the most gentle way and transfer all the virtues of the fruit to the wine. During winemaking, no extraneous substances are used, wines are created with the least intervention.
