Secret Coast is a label from a team that works with growers across Marlborough, with grapes carefully selected from several vineyards and blended under winemaker Megan Simmonds. Marlborough is a dry, sunny region at the north-eastern tip of New Zealand's South Island, stretching along the Pacific Coast through two parallel valleys, the Wairau and the Awatere. The vines grow in young alluvial soils laid down by the two rivers. They drain well and aren't very fertile, so the roots dig deep for water and nutrients and the berries end up concentrated in flavour.
A zesty New Zealand white wine that's as happy at the table as it is on its own. It's one to open whenever you want something fresh.
