The geographical area includes the part to the north of the province of Chieti that reaches the foot of the Maiella massif. The soils are predominantly clay. and the average annual rainfall in the area is between 700 mm and 900 mm per year. A hot climate, with significant temperature ranges between day and night. Frequent ventilation helps create optimal conditions for the health of the grapes.
The grapes are harvested manually followed by a soft pressing and fermentation maceration with selected yeasts at controlled temperature below 20°C in steel tanks. Cold stabilisation and bottling through isobaric filler.
