Cantine Sampietrana, Brindisi Riserva 2022 — Italy, 13.5% ABV. 80% Negroamaro and 20% Montepulciano, aged 12 months in Allier oak barriques followed by a year in bottle. Aromas of ripe berries, a touch of spice, smooth rounded tannins, long satisfying finish. Brilliant with roast meats, hearty pasta and mature cheeses.
