Get to know: Briottet Creme De Cassis De Dijon (70cl 15%)
Tasting Note
As is the case as regards all of Briottet crèmes de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur), for their Dijon Crème de Cassis 15% they use the most prestigious blackcurrant variety: the Noir de Bourgogne variety. The berries used are harvested exclusively in Burgundy, France.
You can drink it accompanied by dry or sparkling white wine, or in a Briottet Sour cocktail.
Producer Info
Briottet's ancestral know-how means that they produce premium-quality cassis. The berries are macerated in a water and alcohol solution for about 10 weeks. Indeed, maceration is the best way to extract all flavours from these berries. The alcohol-containing juice thus obtained is called infusion. After that, French white sugar is added to create a luscious crème de cassis.
