Ecker-Eckhof is a family estate of 24 hectares within the beautiful winegrowing region of Wagram in Austria. The Roter Veltliner comes from the oldest vines on the state using only perfectly ripe grapes. The maturation takes place in large neutral barrels and stainless steel to maintain the fruit character of the wine.
Roter Veltliner is a bit like Gruner Veltliners big brother, riper in fruit, a little more complexity and texture with red apples, citrus and some spices finished and balanced with zingy, fresh acidity.
