Chenin Blanc Wine

Chenin Blanc (pronounced “shen-nin blonk”) is one of the world’s most versatile white grapes — capable of producing everything from bone-dry still wines and sparkling Vouvray to luscious late-harvest dessert wines. It’s defined by its naturally high acidity, which gives it remarkable freshness and ageing potential across all styles.

Our selection draws from the two regions where Chenin Blanc truly excels. In France’s Loire Valley, you’ll find Vouvray from Domaine Vigneau-Chevreau - both a dry still wine and a sparkling Pétillant - alongside sweet Coteaux du Layon and Coteaux de l’Aubance. From South Africa, we carry a strong line-up spanning the Coastal Region, Stellenbosch, Swartland and Bot River, with producers including False Bay, Waterkloof, Dornier, Beaumont and KWV.
