Producer Info

Maison Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne, founded in 1584, with roots in Aÿ dating back even earlier. Known as a renowned winemaker in the region, Gosset has spent over seven centuries perfecting a style defined by elegance, freshness, and longevity. Sourcing predominantly from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards, the team – led by Odilon de Varine – focuses on purity of fruit, meticulous blending, and traditional craftsmanship, all while championing sustainable viticulture across Champagne.

How it’s made:

  • Varieties: Pinot Noir (45%), Chardonnay (35%), Meunier (20%)
  • Harvested from top vineyard sites across Champagne to preserve balance and aromatic depth
  • Fermented in stainless steel to retain clarity and precision
  • Malolactic conversion avoided to maintain the House’s signature freshness
