Fratelli Felix Bianco is a joyful, lightly hazy natural white from the sun-soaked slopes of Campania. It’s made by Vigneti Tardis – a small, forward-thinking project run by two friends passionate about organic farming and low-intervention winemaking.
If you love orange wine that's on the fresh and fruity side of the style, then this is for you. There's delicious aromas of tropical fruit (think lychee, peach and citrus hints) and a honeysuckle note. On the palate it is light and dry with a slightly chalky texture and bit of salt on the finish. Very easy drinking stuff with a bit of something about it.
Try this with a grilled halloumi burger.
“Like southern Italian sunshine in a glass – juicy peach and melon with a zesty, salty snap. Perfect with mezze, grilled fish, or just catching up with friends.”
Fratelli Felix Campania Bianco is made by Vigneti Tardis a tiny organic estate based in Campania, founded by British sommelier Jack Lewens and local winemaker Bruno de Conciliis. Their Fratelli Felix range is all about capturing the lively, generous spirit of Southern Italy, with minimal intervention and maximum character. They farm organically and biodynamically, producing wines with a hands-off approach from 3.6 hectares of vines in Cilento, Campania. Grown on clay and limestone soilsm the grapes are harvested manually. The skins are left to soak in the juice for 2 days before a light press. No additives bar a tiny amount of SO2 at bottling, neither filtered nor fined.
How it’s made:
Grapes grown organically in the hills of Cilento, near the Tyrrhenian coast
Hand-picked and wild-fermented in stainless steel
Bottled unfiltered with minimal sulphur
Vegan and naturally made
