Description

There's something genuinely satisfying about a wine rack stocked with bottles you know you can trust. No second-guessing, no crossed fingers - just the quiet confidence that whatever you reach for will deliver. That's exactly what we've put together here: six of our most-loved wines, the ones our customers come back for again and again.

After over 20 years in the business, we've learned to pay attention when the same bottles keep flying off our shelves. These aren't wines that dazzle once and disappear - they're the reliable favourites that earn their place through sheer quality and drinkability.

Kate Says

"If you're looking for a case of really good wines and are feeling overwhelmed by the range, this is the place to start. Wines we love that have been tried and tested again and again so you know they're good."

What's inside?

This mixed case covers all the bases with reds, whites, and a splash of fizz. You'll find a rich, velvety Malbec with its trademark dark fruit and gentle spice - the kind of red that feels like a warm handshake. There's a crisp, zesty Sauvignon Blanc that practically sparkles with citrus and fresh-cut grass, plus a pale, elegant Provence-style Rosé that tastes like summer evenings on a terrace, no matter the weather outside.

Palazzi Durello Spumante Brut NV, 11.5% Italy, Vegan

If you like Prosecco, you'll love this. A fresh and elegantly dry sparkling wine with citrus and gently floral aromas that lead to a very refreshing palate of crisp green apple with a lightly honeyed character.

Domaine Gayda, La Minuette Rose, 13%, France

Delicate floral and citrus notes -. raspberry, grapefruit, redcurrant and a hint of cherry blossom. On the palate, wild strawberry and fresh clementine, with just a touch of orange zest lifting the finish. Dry, fine, and ever-so-moreish.

Gran Bestia Malbec, 13.5%, Argentina

Rich, smooth and satisfyingly bold. Packed with ripe blackcurrant, bramble and damson fruit, this Malbec is silky on the palate with a soft, lingering finish and just a touch of spice for depth.

Cantine Pirovano, Beatrice Appassimento Rosso Salento, Italy

This is one of those reds that feels like a hug in a glass. It’s lush, indulgent, and brilliant value – exactly what you want for a dinner party or when you’re opening something a bit special midweek. The hint of sweetness and soft tannins make it incredibly drinkable. A solid crowd-pleaser.

Gayda Sphere Viognier, 13.5%, France

Aromatic white that beautifully balances bright fruit with delicate floral notes. Pale yellow with a hint of silver, it offers aromas of white flowers, citrus peel, and wild meadow herbs. On the palate, juicy William pear and zesty yuzu peel shine through, complemented by a long finish

Secret Coast Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, 12%, New Zealand

Green peapod and grapefruit jump out of the glass before you've even taken a sip. Gooseberry and citrus follow on the palate, and a mineral edge adds depth underneath. It's refreshing from the first mouthful, and the finish is mouth-watering, keeping things lively right to the end.

When to Open Them

This is a case built for real life. The Malbec is brilliant alongside slow-cooked lamb or a simple steak with peppercorn sauce. The Sauvignon Blanc shines with grilled prawns, goat's cheese salads, or fish and chips on a Friday night. And that Provence-style Rosé? Serve it chilled with charcuterie, Mediterranean mezze, or nothing at all - just good company.

The sparkling option is your back-pocket celebration wine, ready for birthdays, promotions, or those moments when Tuesday simply needs elevating.

A Gift That Actually Gets Enjoyed

Looking for something to bring to a dinner party or send to someone who appreciates good wine? This case takes the guesswork out of gifting. It's thoughtful without being fussy, generous without being excessive.

We've done the tasting, the debating, and the re-ordering. All you need to do is enjoy.

These are the wines we'd choose for our own kitchen - and that's the only recommendation that really matters.
