If you're looking for something that is fresh but also has come complexity and richness, you should give this a try. Expressive and intense aromas of tropical fruits and honey, with a subtle smokiness. It shows hints of oak from the barrel ageing process, giving it some weight which is well-integrated, managing round stone fruit with crisp acidity on an unctuous palate. It ends with with a long persistent finish and an elegant hint of minerality.

The grapes come from a rain fed vineyard on a slope with poor soils, but well balanced structure. Half the vines are planted on bush vines and the other half on trellis lines. Very low yields are kept at a low temperature from the harvest, to the free run extraction of the must. Alcoholic fermentation and ageing on its fine lees in oak barrels of various origins and different toasting levels during 30 days. Regular “battonage” is carried out to keep the fine lees in contact with the must and remains in barrel for six months before bottling.
