Moorooduc, Pinot Noir 2019

Get to know: Moorooduc, Pinot Noir

Tasting Note

On the nose there is dark cherries, violets, rose and an earthy complexity. On the palate more black cherry fruit off set by tangy pomegranate, moroccan spice and savoury notes. It's smooth, luscious and velvety with well intergrated tannins finished with a long, mouthwatering aftertaste.

A wine that will match well to robust flavours – boeuf bourguignon or a similar slow cooked beef dish would be terrific. For the vegetarians, a beetroot and potato puree with grilled mushrooms would be a lovely match.
