Tasting Note
Enosophia DIKA Graševina is a fresh, fruit-driven white that captures the bright character of this native variety. Youthful yellow in colour with green hues, it opens with expressive aromas of lemon, green apple, and delicate blossom. On the palate, it’s crisp and elegant, with juicy orchard fruit flavours balanced by a hint of almond bitterness that adds a lovely twist to the finish. With its lively acidity and gentle texture, this Graševina is a brilliant example of why Slavonian white wine is gaining attention among European wine lovers.
Top food pairings:
- Light seafood dishes such as grilled prawns or calamari
- Goat’s cheese and herb salad
- Roast chicken with lemon and thyme

"This Graševina has that perfect balance of freshness and flavour – I’d pour it on a sunny afternoon with a bowl of olives and some grilled fish. Simple and delicious."
Producer Info
Enosophia is one of Croatia’s most exciting modern wineries, based in the historic wine village of Feričanci in Eastern Slavonia. Run by winemaker Martin Kovačević and his wife Lucija, the estate spans 160 hectares of vines on the slopes of the Krndija mountain. The name combines ‘eno’ (wine) and ‘sophia’ (wisdom), reflecting their thoughtful approach to sustainable, knowledge-led winemaking. The region’s continental climate, clay-rich soils, and forest surroundings all play a key role in crafting expressive, aromatic wines with real sense of place.
How it’s made:
- Varieties: 100% Graševina (Welschriesling)
- Hand-harvested in early autumn for optimal ripeness and freshness
- Grapes were destemmed, crushed, and gently pressed
- Cool fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve bright fruit aromas
