Get to know: Domaine Belleville, Mercurey Les Perrieres
Tasting Note
"Perrière" is an old French word for quarry and describes the location of the vineyard in the middle of a stony slope in Mercurey. The wine is a nice deep garnet-red colour in the glass. On the nose it is open and inviting with fresh black fruits, such as blackberries, with a spicy touch. On the palate the fruit continues the texture is round and delicate with well integrated tannins. It finished with satisfying good length. This is very enjoyable now but will cellar well in good conditions for 5-6 years.
