Get to know: Dom. Montgilet, Coteaux de l'Aubance "Les Trois Schistes" 2018
Tasting Note
This wine is a perfect expression of the terroir all in Loire Chenin Blanc with a beguiling aroma of ripe fruits. You'll find Marmalade of quince, apricot, passion fruit, and pineapple layered in a mouthwatering fruit cocktail. On the palate it is delicate and displays elegance and freshness with a mellow honeyed note balanced by citrus acidity. A perfect balance between sweetness, acidity, and vivacity. This wine is sensational now but could age a very long time.
Try with a slice of apple or apricot pie.
