Chateau Saint-Pierre, Cuvee Marie Cotes de Provence 2024

Get to know: Château Saint-Pierre Cuvée Marie Rosé

Classic Provence rosé – pale, dry, elegant and effortlessly drinkable. A summer staple with style and finesse.

Tasting Note

Cuvée Marie is everything you want from a Côtes de Provence rosé – delicate in colour, crisp on the palate and quietly complex underneath the freshness. Expect notes of wild strawberry, white peach and citrus peel, with a gentle floral lift and a clean, stony finish. It’s dry, refreshing and supremely balanced, with just the right amount of fruit and zip.

One of those wines that suits everything from sunny lunches to smart dinners, beach picnics to backyard BBQs.

Top food pairings:

  • Grilled courgette, lemon and almond salad
  • Niçoise salad or grilled salmon with herbs
  • Cheese: creamy goat’s cheese or young Tomme de Provence

Chill it down and enjoy it with the sun on your face – or when you need a glass of sunshine on a grey day.

Kate Says

“Côtes de Provence rosé has a reputation for a reason – and this is a particularly classy example. It’s got that signature pale colour and subtle perfume, but also real clarity and finesse. The kind of wine that makes you want to book a flight to the Med.”

Producer Info

Château Saint-Pierre is a family-owned estate near the village of Les Arcs, in the heart of Provence. The château dates back to the 11th century, but the current winemaking family, the Dou family, have built a reputation for crafting beautifully precise rosés from organically farmed vines. Their focus is on freshness, balance and expression of the Provençal terroir.

Cuvée Marie is their flagship rosé – named after the family matriarch – made from a classic blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah, grown on limestone and clay soils that help retain freshness and aromatic lift.

How it’s made:

  • Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grown on limestone-clay soils in the Côtes de Provence
  • Grapes are harvested at night to preserve freshness and gently pressed straight away
  • Fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel to keep delicate aromatics intact
  • Aged on fine lees for a few weeks to build texture and roundness
