Made in the heart of Spain’s Cava country, Francesc Ricart is produced by a family-run house in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, just outside Barcelona – the spiritual home of Cava.
This wine is made using the traditional method (the same as Champagne), giving it its fine mousse and biscuity complexity. Aged for a minimum of 12 months on the lees, it develops texture and character without losing that zippy freshness.
This method gives the wine a more refined sparkle and complex flavour than tank-fermented fizz, making it a brilliant value option for fans of Champagne-style sparklers.
