What’s inside
-
Cantine Sampietrana, Settebraccia 2021 - Italy, 14.5% ABV. A big southern Italian red from old Salento bush vines, made from Negroamaro and Susumaniello. Elegant, warm, soft and round in texture - intense fruit verging slightly sweet, with luscious tannins. Aged in French and American oak. The kind of bottle people remember.
-
Benegas Estate Malbec 2022 - Argentina, 14.5% ABV. Floral and mineral aromatics typical of Cruz de Piedra (Mendoza) mingle with impressive black and red fruit (blackberry, plum, raspberry) concentration. Big and polished but ultimately fresh and finely judged - just 6 months in second-use French oak. Built for a Sunday roast.
