Warramate is a small, independently owned vineyard in Victoria's Yarra Valley, established back in 1970. All fruit here is hand picked, fermented in open top vats with hand plunging for gentle extraction of tannins. There's around 15 months ageing in 100% French oak, only 20% of which are new. Full of ripe plums and sweet liquorice spice. Medium bodied and full of juicy fruit with supple, balanced tannins.
