Get to know: Un Bon Canon, Pinot Noir
Tasting Note
This Pinot Noir is from the southern French region Limoux, and being grown close to the Pyrenees gives these vines the benefit of altitude to keep them cool as well as the ocean breeze coming off the Mediterranean. Prime growing conditions for a fruit forward, juicy Pinot Noir. There's plenty of juicy red berries with silky smooth tannins and a crunchy, refreshing finish.
A fantastic Pinot Noir to enjoy with grilled salmon or grilled tuna steaks.
Producer Info
Great friends and business partners Bruno Lafon and François Chamboissier have a shared passion for the wines of the south of France. Originally from Burgundy and Bordeaux respectively, they were drawn to the south several decades ago, thriving on the multifaceted nature of the region, and with a great appreciation for the local winemakers, who have carved out a now solid reputation for their wines.
