Orovela Chambredi 2007

Get to know: Orovela Chandrebi White 2007

Tasting Note

This delicious orange wine from Georgia’s Kakheti region is made with Mtsvane and Rkatsiteli grapes. This parcel of the 2007 vintage offers remarkable freshness for its age. It has rich, developed aromas of dried fruit, hazelnut, honey, and a touch of hay. The flavour is full and smooth, with baked apple and a clean, minerally finish. A wine that beautifully balances its age with vibrancy. A truly unique find.

Try this with fried chicken, butternut squash risotto, or a selection of aged cheeses like Comté or Gruyère. Its richness and complexity also make it a great match for hearty vegetable dishes or Moroccan-style tagines.

Kate Says

“This is a real find! A one-off parcel unearthed from Orovela’s cellar and offered at an incredible price. It’s rich and complex, yet still so fresh for its vintage. If you’ve been curious about orange wines, this is your chance to try something different without breaking the bank. Pair it with a roast chicken or aged cheese.”
