Indomita Nostros Carmenere Reserva 2023

Get to know: Viña Indómita, Carménère 2023

A bold and deeply coloured red blend from Chile’s Maipo Valley

Tasting Note

This wine is full of ripe black fruit, savoury spice and that signature silky Carménère texture. Deep, inky red with intense aromas of blackberries, paprika, pepper, and a touch of truffle. On the palate, it’s smooth and velvety with dark berry fruit, a lick of clove spice, and a rounded finish from partial oak ageing. A great match for hearty dishes and spicy food alike.

Top food pairings:

  • Mushroom risotto with rosemary
  • Sticky soy-glazed duck
  • Roasted aubergine with miso and sesame
Kate Says

"I love the balance here – silky smooth yet packed with bold flavour. Carménère has this amazing savoury edge that works beautifully with spiced or umami-rich dishes. A great value intro to Chile’s signature grape."
