A half bottle of Chiant Classico, lots of ripe plum and black cherry with a hit of spice and savoury edge. the acidity is refreshing and well balanced with redcurrant and bramble fruit and supple tannins. Chianti is always fantastic with game dishes like wild boar ragu, but we think it goes just as well with sausage and mash.
