Filey Bay 'STR' Single Malt from Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery is their Flagship single malt, distilled in 2016, that's then gone on to be aged in 'STR' casks - shaved, toasted, re-charred, that were previously used for Rioja red wine. This brings an amazing lifted, red berry profile and added mocha, toasty oak characteristics too. The resulting whiksy has an abundance of fruit from the red berries to oranges, chocolate, salted caramel and sweet spices.
