Delicate aroma, with hints of spice, vanilla and some malty dried fruits. Initially sweet with a touch of spice, citrus and apple and an edge of grain. Well-balanced. Crisp and peppery at the end with a distinctive rye touch.
The Evan Williams Single Barrel series was launched in 1995. This was the first time that a bourbon distiller had set in progress a strategy of releasing a vintage dated product every year, and has remained a marker of quality for the brand.
