Tasting Note

Intense spicy and exotic notes are expressed in this well-balanced, elegant wine. Its aroma of lychee, rose petal, and hints of spice is a delightful introductions, leading to the rich and layered palate. It is off-dry with a little sweetness balanced by vibrant acidity.

Drink as an aperitif or pair with aromatic foods like a Thai green curry. Also delicious when paired with black pudding or boudin noir.

Kate Says

"Bott-Geyl's wines really embody the essence of Alsace with their rich and aromatic profile. This has aromas of lychee, rose petal, and hints of spice. I'd enjoy this with a Thai green curry."

Producer Info

Grapes are harvested from the top of the vineyard around Beblenheim before pressing. The must undergoes static settling and is then fermented using natural yeasts at temperatures of 18.5 -19°C. Then wine is stored in stainless steel tanks where it remains on its lees until the beginning of September. Neither the juice nor the wine has enzymes added, nor are they chaptalized or fined.
