Get to know: Charles Frey Pinot Noir Harmonie
Tasting Note
Charles Frey’s Pinot Noir Harmonie 2023 is a delicate and expressive take on Alsace Pinot Noir. It’s light-bodied, with a bright, pale ruby colour and aromas of fresh strawberries, cherries, and a touch of dried rose petals. The palate is soft yet vibrant, showcasing juicy red berries, a hint of spice, and a gentle, refreshing acidity. Silky tannins make it incredibly drinkable, finishing with a subtle floral lift.
Try this with Osso Bucco, lamb chops or grilled salmon.
Kate Says
“This is Pinot Noir at its most charming - lithe, juicy, and effortlessly elegant. It’s the kind of wine you want slightly chilled on a warm evening or alongside a simple roast chicken. If you’re into Burgundy but want something a little more playful, this is a great choice.”
