Fattoria La Rivolta, Fiano del Tabruno 2022

Get to know: Fattoria La Rivolta, Fiano del Tabruno

Tasting Note

Fattoria La Rivolta make a beautiful wines in Campania and this vibrant, organic Fiano is a great taste of the region's style. It bursts with white peach, pineapple, and exotic fruit aromas, with a subtle nuttiness in the background. The palate is light and zesty, lifted by fresh acidity and a crisp, mineral-driven finish—the kind that keeps you reaching for another sip. Unlike some heavier Fianos, this one is all about purity and freshness, perfect for those who love bright, fruit-forward whites.

Try this with baked sea bream with lemon and herbs, orecchiette pasta and turnip tops, or pair with a mild goat’s cheese.

Kate Says

"Some whites fade into the background, but this one sings. It’s got just the right balance of ripe fruit and crisp minerality, making it a brilliant wine for seafood, fresh cheeses, or simply enjoying on a sunny afternoon."

Producer Info

Fattoria La Rivolta is a family-run estate in Benevento, part of Campania’s Sannio wine region, where winemaking dates back to Roman times. Their philosophy is all about sustainable, organic viticulture, and they’ve been certified organic since 2001.

The estate’s Fiano vines grow in volcanic and calcareous-clay soils, which add a distinct mineral edge to the wine. Everything is done with care and precision, from hand-harvesting the grapes to fermenting in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures to preserve that lively fruit character. A short period of aging on lees (60 days) with batonnage adds just enough texture to round out the wine without overshadowing its natural brightness. The result? A pure, expressive Fiano that’s true to its roots, easy to enjoy, and packed with personality.
